Founding Product Manager
Founding PM to set product direction for an AI document intelligence platform. Own everything from core APIs and workflows to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market with no layers between you and the work.
What You’ll Do
- Find the right problems. Develop deep expertise in customers and their workflows, our models and capabilities, and the competitive landscape. Talk to customers constantly and bring that context into every product decision. Work closely with research to understand model capabilities and translate improvements into product value.
- Multiply the team. Remove obstacles before they become blockers, nail launch plans, de-risk decisions early, and keep the full team aligned without unnecessary process.
- Keep pace with AI-native development. Find the path that lets the rest of the org match the pace of engineering so the company has extraordinary velocity end to end.
- Ship product end-to-end. Spec it, build it with engineering, test it with customers, launch it, measure it, iterate. Own the metrics that determine whether a feature is successful, including how the product translates into revenue: pricing, packaging, PLG motions, enterprise expansion.
- Set the quality bar. QA features personally, catch rough edges before they ship, and push for the extra polish that makes Reducto feel like a product built by people who care.
- Go broad and deep. Develop real understanding across verticals (financial services, healthcare, legal, insurance) and customer personas while going deep enough in each to build products that solve specific problems well.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- 5+ years as a PM, engineer, or founder. Taken a product from "we think there's something here" to "customers are paying for this." Comfortable with ambiguity and can structure your own work without a playbook.
- Deeply technical. Can read an API spec, discuss model architectures with researchers, and evaluate technical tradeoffs with engineering as a contributor. Use AI tools daily and understand the ecosystem firsthand.
- Metrics-driven. Define success quantitatively. Thoughtful about which metrics matter for individual features and how they ladder up to business outcomes.
- Excellent taste. Notice the details — the copy, the flow, the naming, the speed. Can point to products you admire and articulate specifically why they're great.
- Maniacal about outcomes. Identify what matters, make a plan, execute it, and hold yourself accountable.
