Founding Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile platform end-to-end, architecting, building, and shipping React Native application across iOS and Android.
• Build AI-powered mobile experiences for insights, real-time agent interactions.
• Establish mobile architecture patterns, shared components, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and performance standards.
• Integrate with social platform APIs (TikTok, Meta, Instagram) and e-commerce systems (Shopify).
• Collaborate with product, design, and founders to shape product experience and technical implementation.
• Set high bar for reliability and performance through monitoring, error tracking, and optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience with deep expertise in React Native.
• Proven track record shipping high-quality production mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, navigation patterns, state management, platform-specific considerations.
• Experience integrating external APIs and building real-time, data-intensive features.
• Comfortable working across the stack in fast-moving startup.
• High ownership mindset, bias toward action, comfort in ambiguity.
• Strong product intuition.

Nice-to-Haves

• Native iOS or Android development or bridging native modules.
• Background in social media platforms, e-commerce, or commerce infrastructure.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or ML-powered features in production.
• Previous founding or early-stage startup experience.
