Responsibilities
- Own and build frontend and backend features for ClickStack, improving developer workflows for debugging and monitoring.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, resolve challenges, and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
- Build high-performance analysis tools for petabyte-scale observability data.
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform to provide reliable performance for a growing customer base.
- Create developer tooling and integrations with a strong developer experience focus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, including Next.js frontend and Express backend development.
- Strong proficiency with React.js.
- Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Passion for open source and the developer community.
- Experience designing developer tooling for developers.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with columnar databases.
- Familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for building integrations.
- Experience with SDKs.
- Strong perspectives on observability tools and product improvement.
