About the role

Responsibilities

  • Be the mechanical engineering presence on site: walk installs, catch deviations, and answer questions at the workface.
  • Verify mechanical installation against design daily: supports, slopes, clearances, torque.
  • Run the mechanical punch process so systems hand to commissioning complete, not merely close.
  • Feed field reality back to design: what's buildable, what isn't, what should change.
  • Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years.
  • Own technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.
  • Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.
  • Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 50GW+, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Requirements

  • You've field-engineered mechanical scope on industrial or data center builds.
  • You spot a wrong install from across the data hall.
  • You document findings so contractors fix them without a fight.
  • You live on site during the build and like it there.
