Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and enhance production software across frontend, backend, data, AI-enabled features, and platform engineering.
- Build responsive user interfaces and reusable components with React and TypeScript.
- Develop backend services, business logic, integrations, and REST APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
- Process, validate, transform, and present environmental, financial, and transactional data and documents.
- Contribute to document intelligence, natural-language interfaces, automation, forecasting, and other AI-assisted workflows.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, databases, and platform capabilities.
- Improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Follow standards for architecture, testing, code reviews, security, documentation, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and implementation teams.
- Use GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, AI-assisted development tools, and enterprise development workflows.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and core computer science concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience building software through coursework, personal projects, internships, research, or other hands-on development.
- Understanding of modular design, debugging, testing, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break complex problems into manageable technical solutions.
- Ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, and application areas.
- Strong attention to code quality, structure, readability, and maintainability.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Interest in using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
