Responsibilities
- Build the frontend for the default open-source chat interface, enterprise search platform, and agent builder.
- Create beautiful core search and chat experience (animations, speed, etc.).
- Implement features like workspace search, internet search, code interpreter, artifacts, deep research.
- Collaborate closely with the design team + founders.
- Set frontend priorities and best practices.
- Build an exceptional design / frontend engineering culture.
- Foster an open-source community; guide contributors on adding to the frontend.
Requirements
- 4+ years of frontend engineering experience building complex, user-facing applications.
- High standards for your work and others.
- In-depth experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NextJS and other modern frontend technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong product/design intuition.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiar with Python, Postgres.
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Previous founder or early engineer at seed/series-A startup.
