Responsibilities
- Leverage AI and tooling to lead implementation of a test automation strategy covering unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing for customer use cases.
- Build, maintain, and effectively use automated tests in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure robust feature and release coverage.
- Improve existing automation frameworks to support new functionality and optimize quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with CI/CD teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot issues, isolate defects, and verify bug fixes during testing and after release.
- Participate in design reviews and guide code and system designs toward modularity and testability.
- Work with product management, development, and other quality engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as TypeScript or JavaScript, with strong scripting skills.
- Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Excellent communication skills for facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Expertise developing solutions to ambiguous problems and integrations across multiple teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
