Automation Engineer, Quality Engineering
Build and maintain automated test coverage, improve testing frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot product issues. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and use automated tests for features and releases.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure robust test coverage.
- Improve automation frameworks to support new functionality and optimize quality and efficiency.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with the CI/CD team.
- Troubleshoot issues, isolate problems, verify bug fixes, and debug issues found during testing and after release.
- Participate in design reviews and guide designs and code toward greater modularity and testability.
- Collaborate with product management, development, and other quality engineering teams.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling and LLMs to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in software development or test automation; recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Exposure to automated testing or a testing framework through work, internships, or personal projects.
- Understanding of basic testing concepts, with willingness to learn testing pyramids, CI/CD, and quality practices.
- Interest in applying AI and LLMs to testing and developer productivity.
- Comfortable collaborating in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
