Product Designer, Internal Experiences

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, accessible, and empowering product experiences for small businesses, including workflows for onboarding employees and internal tools for customer service teams.
• Contribute to design system foundations.
• Work embedded in cross-functional mission teams with product managers, engineers, and researchers throughout the full product development cycle from discovery to delivery.
• Advocate for user needs, balance with business constraints, and ground designs in insights and data.
• Apply systems thinking to design across connected steps and decisions.
• Deliver high-quality, polished work aligned with brand and design system guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and Research partners.
• Use artifacts and storytelling to build shared understanding and guide decisions.
• Adapt approaches while staying grounded in user needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS, HR tech, benefits, insurance, or related domains.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable working within a design system.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams with engineers, product managers, and researchers.
• Attention to detail and refined sense of craft in visual design, typography, and brand expression.
• Portfolio of case studies demonstrating experience leading complex product design efforts, including clear problem framing, collaboration processes, final solutions, and measurable outcomes.

Compensation

• Base salary range: $121000 to $151000 per year (NYC-based). Actual compensation based on skill set, experience, and location.
