OTA/Cloud Validation Engineer - New Grad
Validates over-the-air software updates on automotive ECUs and vehicles through hands-on testing, defect analysis, and Python automation. The role is designed for new graduates with a relevant bachelor's degree, basic Python and Linux skills, and an interest in embedded automotive systems.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute OTA update test cases on HIL benches, lab vehicles, and prototype vehicles, covering download, installation, reboot, and rollback workflows.
- Collaborate with systems and development teams to collect logs, reproduce defects, and verify fixes for OTA failures.
- Write and maintain Python-based automated test scripts to improve test repeatability and reduce manual effort.
- Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of HIL environments and vehicle-integration rigs.
- Collaborate with software and systems teams to validate vehicle functionality before and after OTA updates.
- Maintain reusable test cases, record test results, and ensure traceability to requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, graduating by December 2026.
- Basic Python programming skills and familiarity with the Linux command line.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an interest in embedded systems and automotive software testing.
- Interest in the automotive or EV sectors and commitment to safety and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Understanding of CAN, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with Vector CANoe, PCAN, Jira, or Polarion.
- Experience with embedded Linux, Android, or QNX.
- Participation in engineering projects such as SAE/FSAE.
- Git experience.
