Responsibilities
Be part of a growing team of Product Counsel responsible for helping Stripe deliver compliant cryptocurrency and stablecoin products, particularly as part of the Bridge line of business.
Help product teams navigate the intersection of technological innovation, e-commerce user experiences, and financial services compliance.
Collaborate with product, engineering, partnerships, compliance, risk, and marketing teams on product development and commercialization, including advising on new legal and regulatory developments, identifying trends, and adapting laws to new technologies.
Work with Stripe’s global legal team to support regulatory structure, customer agreements, and strategic financial partnerships.
Scope and build scalable processes for legal review and launch of new products.
Stay up-to-date on US and international laws and regulations pertaining to cryptocurrency, stablecoin, and traditional financial services products.
Act as a proactive and strategic business partner to senior managers and trusted advisor.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a top law firm, in-house legal team and/or government agency.
Expertise in cryptocurrency and stablecoin product development, and related laws and regulations such as the GENIUS Act.
Familiar with counseling teams that solve issues through technology by translating complex legal requirements into clear and actionable advice.
Works collaboratively with teammates and shares knowledge and experience.
Qualified US lawyer.
Passion for technology and ability to understand complex business models and product use cases quickly.
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, deals well with ambiguity, and focuses on driving impact.
Excellent judgment and capable of making smart decisions with imperfect information.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Serve as primary commercial legal counsel for OpenAI's Robotics team, drafting and negotiating complex hardware, manufacturing, supply chain, and partnership agreements while providing practical risk management and scalable legal frameworks to support cutting-edge robotics development.
