About the role

What You'll Do

  • Lead and grow a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development support
  • Define and drive the quality roadmap in partnership with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data leaders
  • Scale and improve automation frameworks and regression/smoke/integration suites
  • Embed testing into CI/CD to reduce manual effort and prevent regressions
  • Promote operational excellence across the SDLC by setting quality best practices
  • Ensure testing covers performance, security, and regulatory/compliance needs
  • Hire and onboard QA engineers
  • Manage and continuously improve team processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing SDET/QA/Quality Engineering teams of 5+
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation for production systems across mobile and web
  • Experience building and operating testing programs for mission-critical products at scale
  • Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Experienced in mentoring future leaders and growing talent
  • Familiar with incident management, release readiness, and on-call/production support
  • Solid understanding of security, data privacy, and regulatory/compliance requirements in fintech
