Build and maintain production integrations and automations for Flexport's customs clients using low-code tools, Python, and SQL. Partner with business teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions for complex accounts in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade integrations and automations using Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, Apps Script, and SQL.
- Partner with Customs BD, operations, and business units to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions.
- Own the rollout, monitoring, and iteration of the tools you build, with an eye on reliability and client impact.
- Document your solutions so they are easy for others to adopt, use, and maintain.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience building automations, integrations, or software in a data-rich environment.
- Working proficiency in JavaScript or Python for data transformation, business logic, and dynamic queries.
- Advanced SQL.
- Experience consuming REST APIs (GraphQL a plus).
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and feature branching (e.g., GitHub).
- A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

- Low-code/workflow tools (Retool, n8n) and EDI/integration exposure.
