Staff Engineer, Code Generation

Responsibilities

• Lead the Code Gen team in designing, building, and optimizing code transformation workflow and tools
• Work on critical components ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability of services, including orchestration layers, integration points, and high-performance data systems
• Leverage advanced AI capabilities for code generation, build, and test
• Partner with product managers, AI researchers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions and guide through technical challenges
• Drive architectural vision and technical strategy for code gen tools using GenAI for reliable, scalable building blocks
• Define and champion engineering best practices, patterns, and standards; contribute core foundational code
• Collaborate with security and product teams for secure code generation and LLM-based tasks

Requirements

• 8+ years in software development and operations with proven track record of high performance, correctness, and architectural excellence
• Experience with Relational Databases: Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with tools and methodologies for code analysis, refactoring, and automated testing
• Experience designing and implementing complex software systems and collaborating with engineers
• Practical knowledge of integrating GenAI into large-scale systems, understanding appropriate use cases
• Experience leading design and development of complex workflows for AI model integration and output processing
• Excellent technical communication, time/project management skills
