Director, Product Marketing
Lead product marketing efforts at a fintech company, developing positioning, launching new products, and creating sales enablement materials for retirement and savings products. Requires 7+ years B2B product marketing experience and team management in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Strategize on priority focus areas that can make the biggest positive impact
- Develop new product positioning to effectively articulate and differentiate value proposition
- Ensure direct reports are aligned to deliver on broader marketing and company objectives
- Strategize and plan the launch of new products and work cross-functionally for a coordinated effort
- Build the tools and tactics needed to effectively introduce new products and partnerships to market through presentations, collateral, and internal communications
- Collaborate with marketing team to successfully communicate releases and drive demand generation around new product development
- Support sales through trainings and enablement tools that foster a deep understanding of what they’re selling
- Develop strong market intelligence to understand the market and buyer behavior through sales insight, market research, and competitive analysis; bring relevant information to product, sales, and leadership teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience
- Experience managing and leading a team
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry and retirement plan market
- Experience in branding, communications strategy, partnerships, and product development
- Constant drive to improve middle-of-the-funnel lead generation
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated start-up mentality with the ability to operate in a collaborative team environment and adapt effectively to changing business priorities/strategies
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, adapt to changing needs, and tackle new challenges daily

- In-depth knowledge of the financial services market, including understanding of the retirement plan space and how to best introduce new products to key constituents
- Excellent command of the written word and solid understanding of techniques needed to create a marketing communication sequence that leads to sales

Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base salary range: $120K - $150K
