About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a globally distributed team responsible for the programmable interface of the networking fabric.
- Act as a technical lead driving vision, roadmap, and execution on various projects.
- Mentor managers and ICs to become domain experts in technologies and products building the networking fabric.
- Drive cross-team projects with company-wide impact to deliver innovative platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading relatively large (12 or greater) highly technical teams.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially Kubernetes and cloud networking.
- Background in developing and leading teams that specialize in building highly scalable distributed cloud native applications.
- Experience building SaaS products and platforms.
Nice-to-Haves
- Understanding of cloud networking as a user of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience running cloud hosted services, especially enterprise applications.
- Background in real time streaming infrastructure and data processing infrastructure.
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
