Responsibilities
- Build and maintain JavaScript SDKs for frameworks including React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, NestJS, Hono, and others across the modern JS ecosystem
- Work on frontend frameworks, meta-frameworks, server-side, and edge runtimes
- Plan, implement, and ship code with full end-to-end ownership
- Write robust unit and integration tests
- Create clear documentation for team and customers
- Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with TC39 and OpenTelemetry SIG on JavaScript standards
- Assist Customer Operations team with critical bugs
- Interact directly with users on GitHub and at industry conferences
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, web developer, or similar role
- Deep expertise in developing web applications, libraries, or SDKs using TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with two or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, NestJS, Hono)
- Strong understanding of framework rendering models, lifecycles, and runtime environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Based in San Francisco (Bay Area) or willing to relocate
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with edge runtimes, server components, or hybrid rendering patterns
- History of contributing to or maintaining open-source libraries
- Experience engaging with open-source committees or working groups
