Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable software across the stack, including distributed systems and data-driven features.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Use AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to improve implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
• Improve architecture and development practices through code reviews and refactoring.
• Contribute to technical strategy while balancing pragmatic decisions with long-term scalability and system health.
• Mentor and collaborate with peers to elevate engineering standards and culture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Track record of delivering high-quality applications and features to production.
• Experience designing and building distributed architectures, ideally in AWS.
• Understanding of separation of concerns, scalability, and loose coupling.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with relational and document-oriented databases, including performance tuning and scaling.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code management practices.
• Passion for clean code, design patterns, and continuous improvement.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base salary:
  • Level I: $98,000–$182,000
  • Level II: $119,000–$221,000
