Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership while delivering scalable software solutions in a rapidly iterating engineering environment.
• Break down complex engineering problems, advocate for best practices, and guide engineers through implementation.
• Improve team efficiency by focusing on outcomes, making data-driven decisions, and iterating on customer feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance, and cross-disciplinary leaders to plan and deliver product enhancements.
• Promote agent-first and agentic engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into architectural proposals and incremental work plans.
• Mentor engineers through technical discussions, code reviews, pair programming, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in scalable, cloud-based software and full-stack engineering.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and driving engineering practices across teams.
• Ability to learn new technology stacks, frameworks, and services quickly.
• AI-forward mindset and practical knowledge of agentic engineering techniques.
• Technical leadership, architectural design, product partnership, and customer-first thinking.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong mentorship mindset.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Video encoding and storage experience, including FFmpeg or livestreaming protocols such as HLS, RTMP, or SRT.
• React Native or native iOS or Android development experience.
• Experience with transaction processing, financial systems, Stripe, Stripe Connect, or financial ledgers.
• Sports technology or high-level American football experience.
• Experience working with hybrid or remote teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $112,000–$187,000 USD.
• Eligible for a long-term incentive award; discretionary bonuses may also be available.
