What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 6+ years building production data platforms that support high-stakes decision-making at scale
- Mastery of modern data stack: SQL, Python, DBT, Snowflake, and the judgment to know when to use each tool
- Proven track record designing both batch and streaming architectures that handle massive scale while maintaining sub-second performance
- Cross-functional leadership experience—you can translate complex technical concepts into business value and influence without authority
- Obsession with quality and reliability—you build systems that just work, with monitoring and testing that catches issues before users do
