Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure used by development teams to own and operate their services.
- Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centered solutions.
- Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to improve developer productivity.
- Guide team members and promote engineering standards focused on usability and maintainability.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for platform delivery.
- Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality.
- Build platform features with clear value propositions.
- Resolve ambiguous, urgent technical tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in platform engineering, cloud engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, and cloud cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies; GCP preferred and AWS acceptable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align technology with user needs and organizational goals.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity.
- Curiosity and interest in learning new technologies.
