Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure strategy and key decisions across cloud architecture, platform strategy, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Develop internal tools, automation, and backend services that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to support current needs and future scale.
- Establish infrastructure best practices and mentor engineers on cloud architecture, observability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience building internal tools, automation scripts, and infrastructure services.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Experience leading infrastructure initiatives and making architectural decisions.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance cost, performance, security, and velocity in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $170,000–$210,000 annually.
