About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting end-to-end, from sourcing and top-of-funnel outreach to coordinating interviews and work trials, managing candidate relationships, and managing external recruiters
  • Support the company's administrative infrastructure: financials (payroll, expense tracking, vendor payments, invoicing), real estate and lease management, office setup, and any other operational foundations that keep the business running smoothly
  • Step in wherever the founding team needs support, whether that's prepping materials for customer calls, tracking deal progress, drafting contracts, or solving cross-functional bottlenecks as they arise
  • Serve as the right hand to the CEO across whatever the company needs most, including driving decision-making, owning high-priority cross-functional projects, and external communications, building and refining company operating cadences, monitoring core business metrics, identifying and eliminating operational bottlenecks, and acting as organizational glue as the team scales

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience at a top investment bank, consulting firm, or private equity firm
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information and drive clarity
  • Track record of owning ambiguous, high-stakes projects and delivering results under tight timelines
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable with data, metrics, and building lightweight tools/dashboards
  • Obsessive attention to detail paired with strategic thinking and business judgment
  • Extreme ownership mentality—you see problems and fix them without being asked
  • Thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments; comfortable with rapid context-switching
  • Collaborative, low-ego, high-trust operator who earns respect through execution

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical background or strong technical fluency (ability to engage credibly with engineering and research teams)
  • Experience across multiple functions: operations, strategy, finance, go-to-market, product, recruiting
