Software Engineer, Cloud Deployment Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Build and improve systems that automate customer setup and deployment across cloud environments.
• Develop deployment workflows and infrastructure-as-code templates that mirror customer environments and reduce manual setup work.
• Improve support for complex deployment scenarios, including BYO-VPC, customer-managed keys, air-gapped environments, and custom-region deployments.
• Work on cloud account and project bootstrapping, authentication wiring, proxy and private networking, and deployment orchestration.
• Partner with Platform, Security, Product, and customer-facing teams to make deployments faster, safer, and easier to operate.
• Improve the quality, reliability, and coverage of AWS and GCP deployment tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in platform, infrastructure, or cloud-focused roles.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across infrastructure-heavy systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including VPCs, subnets, routing, proxies, and private connectivity.
• Experience building or improving deployment automation, onboarding workflows, internal cloud platforms, or customer-environment setup systems.
• Ability to balance engineering rigor with pragmatism and turn complex setup problems into repeatable, productized systems.
• Clear communication, strong collaboration, and comfort taking ownership in an evolving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $200,000–$270,000 annually.
