Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve systems behind provider search, ranking, availability, eligibility, and booking experiences
  • Design and implement complex, distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure
  • Lead high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery, navigating trade-offs and aligning stakeholders
  • Foster a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building and scaling web applications in production
  • Deep expertise in modern full-stack technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js) and strong grasp of functional and object-oriented programming
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and aligning stakeholders
  • Passion for fostering engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring

Nice-to-Haves

  • Hands-on experience developing or integrating LLM-based features or agentic workflows into production applications
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and performance tuning for PostgreSQL and non-relational stores
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments scaling engineering organizations
  • Experience transitioning from monolithic architectures to microservices or event-driven systems
