Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex systems within the In-Store domain.
- Own delivery of large-scale features and projects across multiple teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to shape requirements and make architectural decisions.
- Build resilient, scalable distributed systems and apply reliability best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical production issues.
- Improve CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code, and test automation.
- Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives across services and platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in daily development.
- Maintain ownership of delivery pipelines, code quality, testing, and deployment practices.
- Participate in on-call duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in .NET and C#.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems.
- Strong understanding of distributed-system architecture, microservices, and event-driven architecture with Kafka.
- Experience with resilience mechanisms and performance tuning.
- Proficiency managing cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Terraform.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and cross-team influence skills.
