About the role

Responsibilities

  • Clinical workflow integration: Extend and configure the full-stack application across the EHR integration surface, coordinating with client EHR and clinical informatics teams to deliver clinical insights at the point of care.
  • Integration testing and troubleshooting: Implement automated integration tests and work with client technical teams and frontline clinicians to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Production deployment and go-live: Execute deployments with client technical teams, promote application and workflow configurations to production, and serve as the technical point of contact for application integration issues during go-live.
  • Integration tooling and automation: Develop frameworks and tooling, including LLM-powered automation, to improve the efficiency and velocity of platform integrations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Implementation Leads, Clinical Integration specialists, Product Managers, and client technical teams to align integration work with overall project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline.
  • 3+ years building and deploying full-stack applications into production, including integrations with external APIs; React and TypeScript preferred.
  • Production experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience writing automated integration and end-to-end tests for production systems.
  • Experience deploying production systems, supporting go-live through an on-call or support rotation, and triaging production issues.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with SMART on FHIR applications, Electronic Health Record systems, and health IT interoperability standards such as HL7v2 and FHIR.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers.
  • Experience building internal tooling or automation, including use of LLMs, to improve engineering velocity.
