About the role

Responsibilities

Own large-scale projects end-to-end, from ideation with cross-functional partners through rollout to end users.
Engineer across the stack, designing and implementing backend models and APIs while crafting rich frontend components and architecture.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other teams to build products for users.
Create net-new products and invest in taking existing products to feature completeness.
Mentor engineers on the team and lead technical and architectural discussions within and beyond the team.
Dive into a mature codebase, shape a north-star vision for technical investments, and build an incremental roadmap.
Help shape team processes and participate in technical and architectural discussions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a full-time software engineering role.
Product-first approach to software development, with an ability to ship quickly and focus on real-world impact.
Experience developing both user-facing and backend experiences in a web application.
Experience with React or similar JavaScript-based frontend application frameworks.
Experience leading large, sophisticated, long-term initiatives and breaking them into smaller, iterative projects.
Ability to take high ownership of key areas of a software product.
Interest in learning about life sciences; prior knowledge is not required.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $173,369–$234,557.

Work Arrangement

Flexible hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration.
Employees are expected to be onsite 3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
