  • T-shaped leader: work at a broad level with high-level team and company goals, but dive deep when necessary
  • Build and excite teams; recruit high-quality engineers and effectively pitch the team vision
  • Hold yourself and the team accountable to deliver customer value quickly and effectively
  • Champion technical investment: pay down debt, modernize infrastructure, and raise the engineering bar while knowing when to strategically take on debt
  • Strong product instincts: know what to build, wear the PM hat when needed, and push back on roadmaps when appropriate
  • Thoughtful about AI as a force multiplier: deploy it strategically for codegen, prototyping, and research synthesis without creating cleanup

Nice to have

  • Background in operations research or adjacent quantitative field (optimization, queueing theory, simulation, applied math, or ML with heavy optimization focus)
