Senior Software Engineer New Markets
Senior full-stack engineer designing and operating scalable brokerage, middle- and back-office systems for international markets. The role requires strong backend architecture skills, event-driven design experience, incident leadership, and the ability to collaborate independently across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities
- Design highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems.
- Develop and enhance middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, React-based interfaces, and third-party vendor integrations.
- Improve core frameworks to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
- Collaborate with technical leads across regions using synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Support regulatory requirements and scalable solutions for international growth.
- Serve as operational reliability and engineering lead and incident commander during regional business hours.
- Participate in on-call support as needed.
- Contribute to regional recruitment, mentor engineers, and foster engineering practices and culture.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Go or a similar backend language.
- Experience designing robust system architectures and scalable applications.
- Strong communication skills for working with global teams, regulators, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and troubleshoot incidents and bugs.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies.
- Experience with event-driven design.

- Experience with financial APIs, market data integrations, and trade settlement.
- Familiarity with financial-market regulatory compliance.
