Developer Success Engineer
Supports developers building with LiveKit by diagnosing and fixing issues, writing sample or production code, improving documentation, and guiding customers through successful deployments. Requires production software engineering, debugging, communication, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Support and work directly with developers, teams, and companies building with LiveKit, both commercially and in the community.
- Triage, file, and fix bugs; respond to support tickets; write sample and production-quality code; and update documentation and technical guides for customers.
- Collaborate on and support community efforts, particularly around technical issues.
- Meet with and follow up with LiveKit customers to ensure their continued success on the platform.
- Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams on strategy and customer conversations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build, ship, and debug production software.
- Comfortable working across unfamiliar codebases to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Curious, fast-learning, and energized by ambiguity.
- Customer-focused, with an emphasis on solving underlying problems rather than only addressing tickets.
- Natural teacher who enjoys helping others learn and succeed.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable learning programming languages quickly and prototyping.
- Strong spoken and written English.
