DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer will design and operate highly available, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, observability, security, and data or ML systems. Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to architect, design, and build foundational infrastructure for products.
- Build infrastructure components from scratch in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Design, develop, and deploy highly available, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Use Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Istio to build resilient infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with software development teams to refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build.
- Improve service interfaces and the overall developer experience.
- Write scripts in Shell and Python.
- Architect and implement observability solutions with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Provide real-time alerting and error tracking with Sentry and PagerDuty.
- Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities while maintaining security and compliance standards.
- Deploy testing frameworks, including Selenium, for end-to-end, integration, and system testing.
- Engineer multi-cloud data-plane network designs using private links while centralizing the control plane in cloud-provider services.
- Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements.
- Optimize database queries and performance using query optimization and data normalization techniques.
- Work with event-driven data and machine learning infrastructure, including streaming pipelines, database systems, and model training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role, preferably using Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Experience with air-gapped cloud environments or private clouds.
Nice to Have
- MLOps experience.
