Responsibilities
Drive product-based implementations to fulfill, audit, measure, and enforce critical Trust & Safety policies across internal and external-facing users and workflows.
Lead on product architecture and operational, process-based solutions.
Build robust custom tools and leverage top-tier industry solutions to investigate and mitigate threats like fraud, billing anomalies, and credential abuse.
Establish a brand-new engineering domain from the ground up.
Mentor other engineers.
Build scalable systems that directly protect a vital mental health ecosystem.
Work on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups.
Drive all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, measuring success, and post-launch maintenance.
Participate in on-call rotations, deep dive complex issues, and drive them to resolution independently.
Requirements
4+ years of SWE experience.
1+ years working on Trust & Safety systems.
1+ years of experience helping with a brand new project or team.
Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups.
Fullstack experience building modern database-backed (SQL/NoSQL) web applications.
Microservice development knowledge and experience.
Passion for and ownership of mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
Examples of working on highly complex projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results.
