About the role
Responsibilities
Design RF electronics hardware for next-generation products and iterate on existing hardware to improve reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
Create electromagnetic simulation models of amplifiers, filters, and PCB layouts to design and evaluate performance.
Build RF circuits, including LNAs, filters, and power amplifiers, along with supporting power and digital-control circuitry; characterize their performance.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to characterize and troubleshoot integrated RF system performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
5+ years of RF design experience across circuits, filters, or antennas.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Must meet applicable U.S. government space technology export-control requirements.
Nice-to-Haves
RF lineup design, including nonlinearity, noise, output power, and blocker/jammer tolerance.
Power amplifier, LNA, and filter design.
Design and bring-up of point-of-load converters and common digital interfaces such as I2C/SPI.
Theory and testing related to EVM, noise figure, power handling metrics such as IIP2 and IMD, impedance matching, amplifier stability, and cascaded network analysis.
Python or another programming language for data analysis and test automation.
