Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and internal users of the Zus Platform to ensure the platform is meeting the needs of our customers, both internal and external.
- Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality.
- Provide technical leadership, contributing to the architecture and design of the team’s systems.
- Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs.
- Coach others to become better engineers.
Requirements

- Experience with operationally stable, scalable, and cost efficient data services.
- Enjoy owning your work and seeing it deploy safely in production.
- Jazzed to build backend services in Go.
- Experience using Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift or Databricks.
- Experience with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

- In the Boston metro and excited to collaborate in person on a hybrid schedule, or are remote (EST/CST) but willing to travel for in person collaboration occasionally.

- Experienced in building and running large-scale systems in the cloud using Go.
- Experienced in AWS DynamoDB.
- Knowledgeable about application security.
- Experienced in working with healthcare data and APIs.
- Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards.
