About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales deals by partnering with sales teams to evaluate the Orb product, answer technical questions, and highlight security/compliance.
  • Pave the path for implementations by helping customers integrate Orb into workflows for automation and intelligence, shaping the product roadmap.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on Orb products and business systems, crafting customer solutions.
  • Strengthen Orb’s product by addressing gaps through technical solutioning and providing customer feedback to product teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Clear written and verbal communication around technical concepts.
  • Experience partnering with sales, product management, customer success to build processes.
  • Ability to design/implement technical solutions for complex business challenges via value-selling.
  • Translate technical concepts to non-technical language and vice versa.
  • Strong empathy, customer relationship building.
  • Continuous learner, thrives in fast-paced environment.
  • Sales methodology training (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) preferred.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience in early-stage startup.
  • Billing space experience.
  • Data infrastructure tooling (e.g., ETL tools).
  • Data import/export/ingestion tooling.
  • Quick learning of integration APIs (tax automation, accounting, provisioning).
