About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of 30-100 person multipurpose spaces, boardrooms, and large conference room AV systems with external consultants and integrators.
  • Conduct R&D on new technologies, including AI, build and test proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with IT builds project management team during design and build phases.
  • Assist in design and operation of broadcast-grade AV infrastructure for large-scale event spaces (100–1,000 people).

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in AV system design, integration, and implementation, emphasizing reliability and supportability.
  • Qsys programming and commissioning (Control, UI, DSP programming/troubleshooting; camera tracking a plus).
  • Zoom Rooms as VC platform (commissioning, administration, testing, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with broadcast AV systems (video cameras, video switchers, digital audio mixing consoles, SDI/IP backbone).
  • Programming and troubleshooting DSP systems (QSC, Biamp, Yamaha) and Dante networked audio.
  • Expert troubleshooting of complex systems (audio, video, network, control).
  • Create AV schematics.
  • IP networking design, troubleshooting, basic switch configuration, VLANs.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks across complex systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Research, document complex R&D projects; create technical and end-user documentation (as-builts, runbooks, troubleshooting guides).

Compensation

Pay Range: $136,000—$160,000 USD (base pay; may include bonus, equity, benefits, Employee Travel Credits).
