About the role

What You'll Do

  • Own a portfolio of implementations end to end: kickoff through go-live, including week-by-week milestone plans, clear responsibilities, expectation management, and in-person kickoffs and trainings.
  • Perform technical work with AI leverage: configure close checklists, reconciliations, flux, and reporting; debug ERP integrations (especially NetSuite); build AI-assisted configuration.
  • Make customers AI-native from day one: train accounting teams from staff accountant to controller on the product and running an AI-first close.
  • Go deep on product surfaces for Close and Cash implementations, including transaction matching rules, SFTP data feeds, automation-rate monitoring, and creative workarounds.
  • Hold "done" to outcomes: ensure customers are closing in Numeric, clear blockers with Engineering and Product, and deliver adopted, documented accounts to Customer Success.
  • Build the playbook and services motion: codify best practices, create templates and AI agents, mentor Implementations Associates, and scope/deliver paid AI implementation services.

What You'll Bring

  • Accounting Foundation: 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally as an accounting manager or technical accounting manager who has owned a monthly close. CPA is a strong plus.
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects to completion, ideally software implementations or systems migrations.
  • ERP & Systems Depth: Strong understanding of ERPs (especially NetSuite), integrations, and financial data flows.
  • Strong Communication & Problem-Solving: Provide confident, opinionated guidance and handle pushback with evidence.
  • AI Fluency & Bias for Action: Automate repetitive work using AI tools and design AI-first implementations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior implementation, solutions consulting, or professional services experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience with multi-entity and/or multi-currency accounting.
  • Exposure to audit processes and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience scoping or delivering paid services engagements.
  • Ability to write and run basic SQL queries.

  • High-quality handoffs leading to adopted, healthy customers with low churn.
  • Successfully handling the most complex projects (NetSuite-heavy, multi-entity, Cash).

  • Creating playbooks, templates, and AI workflows that compress timelines for the team.
