Responsibilities

  • Own the development and application of LLM-based features end-to-end.
  • Build and maintain evaluation frameworks for prompt iteration and semantic retrieval.
  • Optimize embeddings and vector stores for performance and scalability.
  • Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in LLMs and applied AI practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional team members to create a product.

Requirements

  • Engineering experience at technology and product-driven companies.
  • Experience shipping multi-provider LLM-based solutions to production, using providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
  • Proficiency with LLM infrastructure platforms for prompt management, logging, tracing, and evaluations.
  • Experience designing large-context LLM systems, including RAG, knowledge graphs, hybrid search, and memory.
  • Experience building features end-to-end with TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.
  • Willingness to work in person from the London office five days per week, most of the time.
  • Startup experience or strong interest in zero-to-one product development.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: 100000–130000 GBP.
  • Compensation is positioned slightly above market on salary and above market on equity.
  • Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to London.
