About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver core networks supporting voice, data, messaging, with scale and reliability.
  • Partner with teams and vendors to integrate solutions and bring to market.
  • Implement features with zero disruption via MOPs, test plans, phased rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot network traces to resolve complex issues.
  • Interconnect networks (private, commercial, roaming, MVNO).
  • Drive security/privacy standards (encryption, eliminating CDRs, new protections).
  • Stand up new network instances in regions or for customer needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years wireless Core network architecture (IMS, EPC/PGW, MME, HSS, SGW or 5G equivalents).
  • Hands-on deploying, configuring, debugging in startup environment.
  • Expertise in VoLTE/VoNR, VoWiFi, SMS/MMS over IP, regulatory compliance (e911, NG911, CALEA).
  • Familiarity with 4G, 5G NSA/SA architectures.
  • Protocol knowledge: Diameter, SIP, GTP.
  • Vendor management and design documentation skills.
  • Comfort with disrupting legacy approaches.

Preferred

  • Cloud-based network deployments.
  • MVNOs, roaming interconnects, IPX, trunking.
  • RAN expertise, SIMs, SIM applets, OTA platforms.
