About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the Transparency strategy and roadmap end to end, balancing platform investment with regulated-product delivery commitments.
  • Drive prioritization across four squads:
    • Onboarding & Monitoring: modular onboarding flows and APIs, KYC review tools, questionnaire framework, customer risk rating and monitoring
    • Transaction Risk Management: travel rule, deposit attribution and trusted sources, sanctions and screening integrations, account restriction framework
    • Billing & Revenue: pricing and CPQ workflows, billing engine and invoicing, NetSuite integrations and auto-pay, tax reporting and tax center
    • Data Platform: reporting and statementing, customer intelligence framework, lifecycle signals (dormancy and attrition), automation of compliance and lifecycle operations
  • Define and ship the API contract and integration model for Transparency so that other product teams can consume services as a platform.
  • Build deep understanding of system architecture across compliance tooling, ledger and account models, screening providers, and case management to set engineering requirements.
  • Drive go-to-market and adoption metrics: time to onboard new client segment, time to integrate new product, manual ops hours per case, billing accuracy, regulatory audit readiness.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Security, Operations, Finance, and Sales.
  • Own KPI acceleration: faster onboarding, reduced manual operations, increased shipping speed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leading PMs and shipping compliance, financial crimes, payments, or banking infrastructure products at a regulated financial institution, exchange, or fintech.
  • People management experience leading senior PMs across multiple squads.
  • Deep financial crimes/compliance product expertise: shipped/owned KYC/KYB, AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, case management, customer risk rating, or travel rule products.
  • Platform product experience: built internal platforms or external API products, designed service contracts, integration models, SLAs, adoption motions.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction regulated businesses and regulatory obligations.
  • Strong technical fluency: data models, APIs, system architecture, event-driven workflows.
  • Cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Security, Operations.

  • Led compliance product org at crypto exchange, custodian, or digital asset bank.
  • Built/led banking-as-a-service, custody-as-a-service, or payments-as-a-service compliance layer.
  • Crypto-specific compliance: on-chain analytics, deposit attribution, smart contract risk, DeFi, travel rule.
  • Led billing, revenue, or data platform in multi-product company.
  • Engineering background.
  • Worked with regulators (OCC, NYDFS, MAS, EU).
