Senior Engineer - Dexterous End Effector Design
Leads the end-to-end development of dexterous robotic end-effectors, from concept and system architecture through prototyping, integration, and testing. Requires 5+ years developing robotic systems and experience with dexterous manipulation and electromechanical integration.

Responsibilities
- Own the full product development cycle for dexterous manipulation end-effectors.
- Brainstorm and prototype concepts ranging from two-fingered grippers to multi-fingered humanoid hands.
- Collaborate with business development, simulation, controls, software, testing, and industrial design teams to define use cases, performance requirements, and packaging.
- Develop system strategies and architectures for dexterous manipulation systems, including end-effectors, teleoperation training systems, and data-collection devices.
- Test and evaluate grippers, end-effectors, sensors, and data-collection devices.
- Support assembly, integration, and testing of robotic hardware.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing high-performance robotic systems.
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience designing and developing dexterous manipulation systems.
- Experience with electromechanical integration, including motors, sensors, servo drives, speed reducers, electronics packaging, and wiring.
- Ability to identify and prioritize problems, then plan and execute solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute across varied technical topics.
