About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term product strategy across multiple areas of the Growth funnel (acquisition, conversion, activation, retention) for web and app experiences
  • Own KPIs over the long term, set strategic direction, and consistently deliver measurable business impact
  • Lead end-to-end product discovery, delivery, and iteration — including research, ideation, requirements, prototyping, and testing
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Analytics to ship high-impact solutions on accelerated timelines
  • Design and run rigorous experimentation programs: form hypotheses, structure A/B tests, and translate learnings into compounding roadmaps
  • Write crisp product strategy documents and specs; act as the directly responsible individual from discovery through post-launch iteration
  • Serve as the strategic voice for the customer, translating member needs and behavior into product decisions
  • Anticipate complexity and proactively de-risk long-term initiatives through smart scoping and technical foresight
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to align cross-functional initiatives
  • Mentor PMs and analysts across the Growth org, raise the bar for product craft, and contribute to team operating cadence and hiring

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipped products producing measurable, long-term business impact
  • Ability to develop coherent product strategy from ambiguous problem spaces and translate into phased, executable roadmaps
  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in SQL and product analytics tools (Amplitude, Sigma, or equivalent) and able to independently pull, model, and interpret data
  • Direct experience with DTC subscription products, digital consumer growth funnels, onboarding, gamification mechanics, and structured experimentation programs at scale
  • Deep customer empathy paired with a rigorous, data-informed mindset; able to form and validate hypotheses explicitly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Self-sufficient and highly dependable; comfortable defining problems and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
  • Track record of mentoring junior PMs and raising team craft standards
  • Highly organized and adaptable in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and WHOOP’s mission
  • Strong commitment to leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work while maintaining high quality standards
