Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

Responsibilities

• Solve interesting problems with code.
• Build new features for internal and external users, and refactor existing ones to improve them.
• Work across a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies, including low-level systems and frontend user interfaces.
• Drive the architecture of the application platform with consideration for the team and future product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, infrastructure, clinical, QA, and regulatory teams.
• Uphold high engineering standards through consistent code practices, reviews, testing, and integration.
• Mentor teammates, learn, and share knowledge.
• Take responsibility for the quality of code produced by you and the team.
• Contribute to a SaaS platform used in clinical trial workflows, ensuring reliability, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
• Support software validation expectations and inspection readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full life cycle development experience.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly in a complex environment.
• Experience designing and building Python-based applications with FastAPI or Django.
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Ability to collaborate with a distributed team and work autonomously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
