Software Engineering Intern
Summer 2027 software engineering intern building and shipping production systems across AI infrastructure, evaluation, data pipelines, and product engineering. Requires a relevant bachelor's degree, prior software engineering internship experience, and familiarity with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.

Responsibilities
- Build reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines for frontier model development.
- Develop evaluation infrastructure to measure model reliability.
- Ship agentic AI applications and tooling that is observable, testable, and safe to deploy.
- Build tools that accelerate the growth of qualified contributors on the platform.
- Develop fraud-detection systems to protect the contributor base.
- Use models to estimate task and contributor quality at scale.
- Develop matching algorithms that pair contributors with customers for accuracy and turnaround.
- Create efficient UI/UX tooling combined with machine-learning algorithms for large-scale task completion.
- Develop AI infrastructure products to visualize, query, and explore data.
Requirements
- Graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Availability for a Summer 2027 internship beginning in May or June in San Francisco.
- Product engineering experience, such as building full-stack web applications and integrating APIs and services.
- Previous computer science or software engineering internship experience.
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and features.
- Experience building systems that process large volumes of data.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, evaluations, or agentic systems through coursework, research, or personal projects.
- Open-source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects.
