Responsibilities
- Work on a runtime security solution affecting large cloud workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to enable new threat-detection capabilities.
- Build and extend research infrastructure, automated testing infrastructure, and release processes.
- Conduct research and develop detection capabilities from concept through implementation.
- Make complex processes easier, faster, and more scalable.
- Address gaps and changes quickly with a bias toward action.
- Analyze, debug, and solve problems in test, staging, and production environments.
- Create and enforce best practices and security policies.
- Work with customers in response to requests and questions when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of cloud-based development experience.
- Familiarity with cloud services, Kubernetes, cloud environment architecture, and major cloud providers.
- Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating-system internals and networking.
- Experience delivering real-world product impact for customers.
- Ability to learn independently and work in a self-driven, goal-oriented manner.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with runtime security products.
- Hands-on experience in detection engineering, malware analysis, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research.
- Familiarity with notable threat actors and threat-intelligence analysis.
- Incident response, red-team, or threat-hunting experience.
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Terraform, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions.
