Build and maintain ClickHouse’s cloud control plane, including scalable infrastructure and web applications for resource management, SQL workflows, analytics, and monitoring. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship application features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and infrastructure.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ClickHouse.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing analytics or data-intensive applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Auth0 or similar integrations.
- Monorepo experience with Yarn Workspaces, TurboRepo, or Nx.
- Experience developing developer tools, IDEs, or BI platforms.
- Experience with WebSocket or other real-time features.
