About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead through hospitality: Maintain visible, approachable presence; create warm, responsive environment for employees and visitors; lead with calmness, flexibility, and attention to detail; support and guide vendors and partners as one cohesive hospitality team.
  • Drive operational excellence: Establish and maintain office operating standards for hospitality, communication, service delivery, and workplace experience; monitor utilization, feedback, performance, and quality to identify improvements; contribute local insights to shape broader workplace standards; develop repeatable processes and playbooks for scalable experiences.
  • Own the office experience: Oversee holistic daily office experience to ensure smooth, welcoming, hospitality-forward environment; act as day-to-day steward treating the office as your listing; provide oversight to on-site vendors and service partners (food, facilities, events, hospitality); own escalation management; partner with Security, IT, and other teams; serve as “Voice of the Office”; monitor employee sentiment and proactively improve experience, communication, and engagement.
  • Enable gathering & engagement experiences: Prepare office for high-visibility visits, events, and business moments; partner with Regional Gathering Programs for offsites, leadership visits, and strategic gatherings; provide local coordination, hospitality leadership, vendor management, and onsite execution; support local events, offsites, and activities with thoughtful hospitality and strong attendee experience; adapt to local needs while maintaining Airbnb culture.
  • Build strong partnerships: Develop relationships with local leaders, executive admins, Airfinity groups, and cross-functional partners; act as trusted partner to strengthen office culture, engagement, and employee experience; support meaningful moments of connection.

Requirements

  • 6–9+ years of experience in workplace experience, hospitality, events, employee engagement, operations, or related fields.
  • Experience owning and executing programs, events, or operational experiences end-to-end.
  • Strong hospitality mindset with passion for creating thoughtful, high-quality experiences.
  • Experience managing vendors, operational partners, or service delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and operational execution skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Passion for Airbnb’s mission, culture, and values.
