Responsibilities
- Own initiatives that improve marketplace health across the end-to-end customer and partner journey: search, booking, post-booking, and repeat usage.
- Partner with Supply, Partner Success, and Customer Support teams to improve supply quality, reduce operational load, and strengthen day-to-day execution.
- Maintain the core business by handling day-to-day maintenance, addressing operational issues quickly, and improving reliability and resilience.
- Write high-quality code for mobile and web applications.
- Own products and services end to end, continuously improving and maintaining existing code and architecture.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for production systems, including improving reliability and resolving production issues.
- Build and ship features across consumer apps, growth engines, and partner tools.
- Stay current with industry trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities.
Requirements
- Relevant experience developing and shipping code for production systems.
- Generalist approach with a focus on velocity and end-to-end feature ownership across the stack.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Elixir, or Ruby.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and technologies such as React, React Native, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit or integration testing.
- Commitment to creating exceptional end-user experiences with strong attention to detail.
- Current knowledge of relevant technologies and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
