Design Vision & Craft
Define and maintain a coherent design language across Bevi’s hardware and digital products.
Set the bar for craft across industrial design and UI/UX, while remaining hands-on enough to raise it.
Own CMF (color, material, finish) standards and hardware decisions in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Guide executive stakeholders through design principles and provide a strong point of view on product direction.
End-to-End Product Experience
Own the experience of drinkers, clients, partners, and technicians across the full product journey.
Create functional, beautiful experiences across hardware and digital products that bring the Bevi brand to life.
Use user experience to drive product love, repeat usage, advocacy, and growth.
Team Leadership
Manage and grow a multidisciplinary team of Industrial Designers and UI/UX Designers.
Align both disciplines around a shared design vision.
Coach designers on craft and career growth and build a team that can scale with the product roadmap.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into design direction.
Work with Engineering to protect design integrity from concept through production, including hardware tolerances and manufacturing constraints.
Represent design in product strategy and planning so that design shapes decisions early.
Partner with Marketing and Brand Creative to ensure cohesive brand expression.
Systems & Scalability
Build and maintain design systems that enable speed and consistency as the product line grows.
Establish standards and processes for design review, approval, and execution.
Requirements
10+ years of design experience.
5+ years leading both physical/industrial design and digital/UI/UX design, ideally for connected hardware or consumer electronics products.
Proven experience managing and growing a multidisciplinary design team.
Portfolio demonstrating range across hardware and digital design, with strong craft in both.
Experience owning CMF decisions and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing partners to bring designs to production.
Ability to set vision while working effectively in the details.
Strong communication skills with engineers and executives.
Track record of building or scaling design systems for a growing product line.
Nice-to-Have
Broad design sensibility beyond industrial design and UI/UX, with the ability to shape a holistic view of design.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $220,660–$272,580 USD.
Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or bonus incentive.
